On the Gironde/Dordogne border, this domain offers numerous possibilities of discovering nature and the local vineyards, walks in the forest
L`Entre-Deux-Mers is one of the prettiest areas of the Bordeaux region, with many hills and picturesque villages.
Environment : In an area with a rich heritage (castles, abbeys, museums and other prestigious places like the Franηois MAURIAC domain). Nowadays, lEntre-Deux-Mers produces many of the red and white Bordeaux wines. Close by: St Emilion, Sauternes and within an hours drive: Sarlat.
PLACES TO VISIT:
Ste Foy la Grande. 12 km. Attractive medieval town on the banks of the Dordogne river with half-timbered houses, a central square with stone arcades and lovely church. Boat trips on the river available as well as a small river beach.
Duras. 20 km. Small and pleasant market town with attractive Chateau which can be visited. Also famous for its wines.
Monsιgur. 20 km. Bastide town on the Dropt river founded by the English, with 13th century church and lovely half timbered houses. A walk around its original walls will offer attractive views across the Dropt valley and surrounding countryside.
St Emilion. 30 km. Delightful village with steep narrow streets lined with beautiful historical buildings and monuments, and surrounded by prestigious vineyards and chateaux producing some of the very finest wines in the world.

Chateau des Vigiers Golf and Country Club, Monestier. 20 km. Golf course. 27 holes. Three 9 hole courses offering a wide variety of playing conditions amidst plum trees, oak woods, lakes and vineyards. In the grounds of Chateau des Vigiers, a challenging course designed by Donald Steel.
Les Secrets de la Vallιe, Chateau Cablanc. 20 km. A treasure hunt and fun way to discover the mysteries of winemaking through a protected area within the domain of Chateau Cablanc.
Aquapark Junior Land, St Laurent des Vignes. 35 km. 4 swimming pools with water slides and direct access to the river for canoeing activities. Mountain biking, beach volleyball, table tennis and archery are all available on site as well as fitness, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. Ten-pin bowling and crazy golf nearby.

Bergerac. 35 km. One of the largest and most important towns in the region on the banks of the river Dordogne and with delightful old centre boasting many attractive, medieval, half-timbered buildings.
Monbazillac. 35 km. Surrounded by the vineyards which carry its name, the town overlooks the huge plain of the Dordogne Valley. Its 16th century castle is a listed historical monument and of course has a cave where you can sample the wines, and plenty of opportunities to purchase some.
Eymet. 35 km. Attractive bastide town on the banks of the Dropt river, with a thriving market square and lovely bridge over the river.
Lalinde. 60 km. First English bastide, founded in 1267 by Henry III Plantagenet, Lalinde boasts several listed buildings and owes much of its charm to the Dordogne River and canal.
