Location
Lacanau, at the heart of the Mιdoc peninsula, offers a stunning beach (14 km long) on the Atlantic coast, a large lake (2000 ha) and a pine forest. Situated 60 km from the city of Bordeaux, within easy reach of the Mιdoc, St Emilion, Graves Sauternes vineyards, and the famous homes of Mauriac, Montaigne and Montesquieu. Here, nature and sports go hand in hand: hiking, horse riding, cycling or watersports, it is all on offer nearby.
Environment : Near the marina, the lake stretches into vast creeks, and a panoramic terrace offers lovely views over the surrounding landscape. The numerous little beaches, discreet and wile, add to the charm of this very pleasant area, often considered as one of the prettiest on Lacanau lake.
The holiday village consists of 104 chalet-style cottages split into 3 `islands`, each comprising between 29 and 40 chalets. Each `island` has its own swimming pool and paddling pool and the chalets are located 20m to 200m from the pool.
