Location
Former fishing village, Trouville-sur-Mer is now an upmarket and sought-after seaside resort, separated from famous Deauville by the river Touques. 15 km from Honfleur and 200 km from Paris. Its proximity to Paris makes it a very popular family destination offering entertainment all year round. Its busy pedestrian streets just back from the beach have many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.

Deauville. 3 km. Elegant and exclusive seaside resort, playground of the rich and famous. Renowned for its fine beaches, famous boardwalk promenade, race course, casino and American Film festival which many Hollywood stars attend.
Houlgate. 15 km. Delightfully laid-back seaside resort with a long straight beach lined with beautiful Victorian villas.
Honfleur. 15 km. Delightful and beautifully preserved port which has attracted many artists since the early 19th century. One of the prettiest towns on the Calvados coast.
Cabourg. 20 km. Chic and mythic seaside resort on the estuary of the river Dives, renowned for its 2½ mile long fine sandy beach and its magnificent Belle Epoque atmosphere, made famous by Marcel Proust.

Le Val des Cîmes, Pont l’Evêque. 15 km. Tree top adventure. Test your nerves and move from tree to tree in complete safety on giant swings, rope nets, high wires and swing bridges etc… 5 different trails suitable for both adults and children (5+).
Golf Barrière de St Julien, Pont-L`Evêque. 15 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 – 6035m. 2 exceptional courses (18 and 9 holes) nestled in the green Normandy countryside.
Festyland, Bretteville-sur-Odon. 60 km. Theme park. Amusement park that brings the times of William the Conqueror to the present day. Kids will have lots of fun interacting with Vikings and pirates in more than 30 attractions designed for the whole family including roller coasters, water flumes, magic roundabouts, 180 degree cinema etc.
FURTHER AFIELD:
Lisieux. 30 km. Main town of the Pays d’Auge with large weekly street markets. Most known as a place of pilgrimage based around the cult of Ste Thérèse, the most popular French spiritual figure of the last hundred years.
Beuvron. 30 km. Most delightful village with attractive half timbered buildings and beautiful manor house. Well worth a detour.
Caen. 50 km. Although almost completely destroyed in 1944 during WWII, Caen boasts an attractive historic centre. With beautiful abbeys and ramparts, excellent museums and lively pedestrian streets with good shops, it is well-worth a visit.
Bayeux. 90 km. Attractive town with well-preserved medieval centre and a renowned cathedral. Also famous for its tapestry depicting the story of the conquest of England and King Harold by the Norman William the Conqueror, in the Battle of Hastings. D-Day landings memorial museum.
