Location Off the beaten touristic road, on the Cotentin peninsula, south-west of La Hague peninsula, in the village of Biville. A beautiful setting made of granite and greenery, the beautiful Cap de la Hague is a long rugged coastline surrounded by rocks. The village of Biville overlooks the sea 2 km from Biville dunes. The coastal path offer some wonderful views over the Channel Islands, which can be reached by ferry from the port of Dielette (45 minute crossing). Environment: In the hamlet of Haut Biville, 2 km from shops.
PLACES TO VISIT: Port Diιlette. 15 kmSmall picturesque 17th century port now renowned for pleasure boating with its 460 berth marina, it is the nearest port of entry to the channel islands of Guernsey and Sark. Cherbourg. 20 km. Lively city with many shops, restaurants and bars. Not to miss, the Citι de la Mer showing the many facets of underwater exploration with human adventure as its main theme. It includes the `Redoutable`, a former French Navy submarine, now a museum and the largest submarine in the world open to the public. Barneville Carteret. 35 km. Seaside resort with beautiful port and fine sandy beaches as well as excellent restaurants and bars. Valognes. 35 km. Market town at the heart of the Cotentin Peninsula with Gallo-Romain ruins, 11th-18th century churches and 18th century private mansions when Valognes was the Versailles of Normandy.

First town to be liberated after the D-Day landings hosting athe Airborne Troops Museum with memorabilia of the time. Tatihou Island. 50 km. Just off the coast from the little port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, an inhabited and fortified island with maritime museum. Also a paradise for nature lovers and in particular birdwatchers.
