Location Away from the tourist route, on the south western coast of the Cotentin peninsula, between Granville and Avranche. The town of Champeaux formerly fortified by Duguesclin offers many scenic walks along the coastal paths and a beautiful sandy beach that ripples endlessly around the Mount, as well as the GR223 for keen walkers. Environment : 500m from the famous cliffs with outstanding views of Mont Saint Michel and the rock of Tombelaine, considered by Eisenhower as one of the best views of the world.

Little town with attractive old centre and famous for its bell foundry which can be visited. Coutances. 40 km. Old hill town overlooked by its stunning half-gothic half-Norman cathedral.
