Location
Situated in Le Cannet, a lively town which benefits from panoramic views of the Sea and the Islands of Lιrins - with a working monastery and fort where was held the man in the iron mask. Boat trips take you to the beautiful islands from Cannes where you can wander amongst the Olives, pines, mimosas, orange and Eucalyptus trees.
The chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Anges and Saint-Sauveur (decorated by Tobiasse), the chuch of Sainte-Catherine, The lover`s wall - Mur des Amoureux de Peynet and the old town (la Vieille Ville) - Vieux-Cannet are living witnesses of the rich history of this place.
Traditionnally cultivated in these lands, and woven into the history of the town is the orange tree. Its delicately scented flowers and fruit are used to make perfumes, sweet wines, jams and oil used in the fabrication of Tapenade - a delicious olive paste eaten on fresh bread as an aperitif in this part of France.

Thιoule sur Mer. 12 km. Charming seaside resort nestling in a small cove at the foot of the Estιrel mountain with red rocky inlets and beautiful sandy beaches shaded by exotic palm trees and majestic parasol pines.
Antibes-Juan les Pins. 15 km. Two towns in one! Antibes with its vibrant historic centre with narrow winding streets, a good choice of restaurants, cafιs, theatres, piano bars, chic hotels, private clubs and Picasso museum, and Juan les Pins renowned for its gorgeous beaches, exciting nightlife with fashionable night clubs, casino and even night shopping. Also Cap d`Antibes, a small piece of paradise, home to a number of millionaires.
Biot. 15 km. Beautiful and picturesque little village best known for its glassware.

Visiobulle Antibes, Juan les Pins. 15km. Boat trip. An hour long excursion in a glass-bottomed boat to discover the Cap d`Antibes with stunning underwater view.
Marineland, Antibes. 20 km. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!

Tourrettes sur Loup. 30 km. Charming hill top medieval village known as the Violet village and surrounded by superb landscapes. Well worth a detour.

Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful Promenade des Anglais, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets. Take a stroll along the flower market in the Cours Saleya, restaurants serving Mediterranean and sea food and bars. Nice is cool in winter and hot in summer!!!
