At the heart of the plains of Comtat Venaissin, Carpentras is an exceptional destination for all history and architecture lovers with its rich heritage, witness of a remarkable history. Visitor will discover its Porte d`Orange, remains of its old walls, the episcopal palace, St Siffrein Cathedral, the Hτtel Dieu and its superb 18th Century pharmacy.
